One of the most anticipated dance events of 2016, English National Ballet presents the world premiere of Akram Khan’s Giselle. Principal casting for Akram Khan’s Giselle sees Lead Principals Alina Cojocaru, Fernanda Oliveira and First Artist Madison Keesler perform in the title role, alongside Lead Principal Isaac Hernandez, and Soloist James Streeter. Giselle is one of a community of migrant workers cast out of their jobs in a condemned garment factory. They seek entry to the place where the factory’s landlords live, beyond a high wall built to exclude them.
