The fragrances transport you to a world of majestic landscapes, of unceasing movement and energy, Penhaligon’s celebrates the drama of nature with two new creations, for men and women.
Composed by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, these two unexpected fragrances explore an olfactory palette reminiscent of the colours, textures and sensations of the wild coast. Cold neutrals, earthy browns, navy blues, textures inspired by rock, bark or earth, two fragrances of contrast, of freedom.
Alberto Morillas drew inspiration from the northern lands of Scotland, where untamed elements compose a dramatic painting. He imagined both fragrances in the same way a painter depicts the raw energy of nature, capturing the free-spirited landscape. In each, the energy and majesty of the Sea meets the natural richness of the Land.
Blasted Heath
Like a powerful swell breaking against the shore, the top notes provide an invigorating wave of aquatic freshness. Enriched with green and salty seaweed reminiscent of oceanic spray, the aquatic accord is infused with the aromatic intensity of clary sage, adding contrast. In the heart, the fragrance meets the shore. Fresh with crunchy green leaves. Refined with the surprising transparent woodiness of Clearwood™. Then texture develops with the tobacco and whisky accord. An assertive masculine character, strengthened by an authoritative woody signature. The resinous warmth of patchouli and Alaska cedarwood blends into rough accents of gaiacwood and the earthy elegance of vetiver. Musks finally bring the ultimate sensuousness at the end of the invigorating journey.

Blasted Bloom
Filled with a natural majesty and soft femininity, the fragrance unveils a blinding light at the top, between earth and sea. The mineral purity of an aquatic accord meets the sparkle of wild berries and the sensation of hand-crushed green leaves. Like a wind-blown kiss, eglantine and hawthorn are bound in a wild floral heart, tinted with pink pepper. In the base note, woods describe the reassurance of earth. Slightly smoky and balmy, Alaskan cedarwood envelops a whisper of Clearwood™. The whole composition sits on a smooth bed of moss and musks.
