The Clothes Throw Liverpool
The Racquet Club in Liverpool played host to the second glitzy “Clothes Throw” fashion event. The show was hosted once again by British fashion designer Kirsty Doyle and costume and fine jewellery designer Benna Harry. The fashion elite joined the super stylish Countess of Derby, indie scene trend setter Abi Harding from the Zutons and talented television and theatre star Suzanne Collins. Guests were treated to an exclusive auction of clothes and accessories donated by international stars that have all unloaded their envious wardrobes for the noble cause. Madonna donated a pair of her MDG sunglasses, designed with D&G and Sarah Jessica Parker donated a jacket worn on set for the Sex and the City The Movie. The prestigious show raised over £16,000 for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal doubling their figures from last year.
