Landscapes & Gardens of Tatton Park Exhibition

25th March – 30th July 2017, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire

This exhibition, stitched by the members of Altrincham, Chelford, Manchester and Warrington branches of the Embroiderers’ Guild, is inspired by the landscape and gardens of Tatton. It forms part of the countrywide exhibition to celebrate the 300th anniversary in 2016 of the birth of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, the garden designer who influenced and changed the landscapes of many of the UK’s stately homes. Members have used a variety of mixed media and stitch techniques to create unique pieces of textile art based on the gardens and landscapes of Tatton Park. Come along and join in one of the workshops and create your own small piece of work.
