Christian Audigier wine and Champagne sponsored the Annual Crème de la Crème Charity Ball, hosted by Dawn and Ashley Ward in the grounds of their Alderley Edge Mansion. The event raised over £100,000 for Destination Florida, Macclesfield Hospital and the Meningitis Trust.

The Playboy Club London Goes Pink

With George Lamb hosting and dinner with Robert Downey Jr on offer, the pink Playboy Bunnies weren’t the only tempting things on display at Playboy Club London’s breast cancer charity event. Held in honour of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, the star-studded bash saw sets from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and burlesque act Gewndoline Lamour as well as a Christie’s-led auction raise £38,000 for The Haven charity. In addition to bidding on luxury holidays, dining packages and even a limited edition Marchesa bunny costume, more than 400 guests also enjoyed pink-inspired treats from head chef Judy Joo and cocktail king Salvatore Calabrese.

Sojourn Dinner at Asia House

Michelle Ong from Carnet Jewellery and Chairman of the First Initiative Foundation was hostess of the dinner, which launched her retrospective exhibition at Asia House. Celebrities such as Nicholas Foulkes, David Starkey and Sarah, Duchess of York all attended the event where guests indulged in a dinner cooked by five Michelin starred chefs who had flown in directly from Hong Kong.

Covet & Crave Launch Liverpool

Covet & Crave opened its new store this week with a prestigious canapés and champagne launch attended by over 100 people. Guests included the Mayor of Sefton Councilor Paul Cummins accompanied by the Mayoress Carol Cummins. The event was held to celebrate the store’s move from Wayfarers Arcade to new premises on Lord Street.

Southport Flower Show Gala Preview Evening

The annual flower show is traditionally opened with a Gala Preview Evening and this year was no exception. This year the Gala raised funds for Alder Hey’s Imagine Appeal. The black tie event consisted of a delicious four course meal and entertainment that took place in both the Grand Floral Marquee and the Corporate Marquee. Resulting in an exclusive experience with a celebrity appearance from Olympic Gymnast Beth Tweddle, who attended to show her support for the benefitting charity.
